Title VI American Disability Act

Security Compliance handles all complaints pertaining to DISCRIMINATION.  Customers discriminated against in any service provided to them through the Driver Service Bureau or the Mississippi Highway Patrol may file a complaint by filling out the Title VI/ADA Complaint Form and submitting it to Security Compliance at P.O Box 1459  Canton, MS 39046. Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act states “No person in the United States shall be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin".

The complainant will be notified in writing within 10 working days of the complaint being received. The Driver Service Bureau maintains a complaint log of all complaints filed by members of the public.

Public Notification of Title VI Program Rights

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety (MDPS) operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, income level or limited English Proficiency in accordance with the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and related non-discrimination authorities. Any person who believe she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
