If you hold or are applying for a Mississippi driver license and want to operate a motor-driven cycle, you must obtain a motorcycle endorsement which requires passing both the written test and a driving skills test and pay the appropriate Fee (cash/credit/debit only). If you hold an out-of-state license which is valid for the operation of motorcycles, the written and skills tests may be waived.

According to law, if you drive a motor driven cycle on the roads or highways of Mississippi, you must wear a crash helmet of the type approved by the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators.

NOTE:

Need to trailer bike to location or have a motorcycle licensed rider present with them (can be on their own bike or other vehicle) and insurance provided at time of road test.
