Driver's Education Update

Effective July 1, 2026: Only Driver's Education completed through a DPS certified instructor or an MDE certified instructor will be accepted for Hardship License applications.

Effective July 1, 2027: Completion of Driver's Education will be required for all new drivers to obtain a regular Driver's License.
